I don’t remember how I first found out about Yugma, but this is a great piece of software for online meetings. Similar to Basecamp, you can have a limited FREE account, or varying levels of pay-for accounts. All accounts come with desktop sharing, audio teleconferencing, annotations & whiteboarding, the ability to change presenters, and public & private chats. The pay-for levels gives you scheduled sessions, recording web sessions, file storage, shared mouse & keyboard controls, and web & phone based technical support.

A coworker and I sat in my office one day, he on his laptop and me on mine, demoing this just between ourselves. It was amazing to see it work. We tried out all of the features with much success, but since we were sitting in the same office we didn’t give the teleconferencing a try. The next time I do a training session for people at a variety of locations I’m going to give Yugma a try.

Oh, and Yugma works on Windows and Mac.
